Taco Bravo Series
Hard Charger Award
Aug 19, 2010
The hard charger award for the Taco Bravo 360 Series
Winged Sprint Cars at Ocean Speedway will continue
through the rest of the 2010 season under new
sponsorship from Thirty Five Industries.
Sun Electric, a local electrical contractor, has
sponsored the award known as the “Fully Charged with
Sun Electric” hard charger award since the beginning
of the 2010 season. Sun Electric regrets that it
will not be able to continue funding the hard
charger award, but hopes to be able to offer a bonus
of some sort at a couple of races before the end of
the season. Thanks to Sun Electric owner Jeff Delte
for his support of the award up to this point and we
look forward to his support from time to time in the
future.
The award will continue as the
“On the Move
with Thirty Five Industries” hard charger award,
and will still provide $100 to the driver who most
improves from his original starting spot at the end
of the main event.
Thirty Five Industries is a
San Jose
based business that provides kitchen and bath
cabinets, granite counter tops, as well as windows
to contractors and property management companies at
wholesale prices. Thirty Five Industries is owned
and managed by long time area motorsports supporter
and sponsor, Dan Greco and his partner, 2007 sprint
car rookie of the year at Ocean Speedway, Jason
Newton. Both men understand the effort that teams go
through to field a car each race and how competitive
the Taco Bravo Series has become. Jason says he
knows how hard it is to have to fight your way
through traffic to get the best finish possible
against some of the toughest competition in
California. Dan and Jason
both say they are pleased to offer both the
incentive and the reward to keep these drivers
“On the Move
with Thirty Five Industries” every lap.
