Sun Electric to
sponsor Hard Charger Award at Ocean Speedway
Ocean Speedway 4/1/10
San Jose based Sun Electric Company has come
on board to sponsor the “Fully Charged with Sun
Electric”, Hard Charger Award at each Ocean Sprints
presented by Taco Bravo 360 Series event in 2010.
The award will put $100.00 into the hands of the
driver who has advanced their position the most,
from their originally slated starting position, at
the end of each Ocean Sprints presented by Taco
Bravo main event during the 2010 season.
Sun Electric is an electrical contracting company
that is owned and operated by Jeff Delte of
San Jose, CA. Jeff has been
involved in area motorsports for years. Jeff was a
driver in his younger days at the now closed
Fairgrounds Speedway in
San Jose, before becoming a
car owner with his son, Jeffery, at the wheel.
Jeff says, “I know what it’s like to have to run
your butt off at times to get to the front. I like
to see a guy up on the wheel, passing cars, and
putting on not only a heck of a run, but a heck of a
good show. If I can help sweeten the deal and give
the guys a bit of something to run for, I am happy
to do it. No matter what, these guys race hard and
deserve it.”
The first “Fully Charged with Sun Electric”, Hard
Charger Award is scheduled to be up for grabs this
Friday April 2 at Ocean Speedway as the Ocean
Sprints presented by Taco Bravo Series takes to the
track to kick off it’s 2010 season.
Ocean Speedway would like to thank Sun Electric and
Jeff Delte, and is looking forward to all the hard
chargers in the Ocean Sprints presented by Taco
Bravo Series being “Fully Charged” with Sun
Electric.
